About Yelyzaveta Shevchenko

Yelyzaveta is a traditional figurative artist based in Richmond, Virginia. Her art is driven by her love for people and desire to capture a brief snapshot in time through impressionistic portraiture. Her favorite mediums are graphite and oil, though she also maintains a consistent sketchbook habit where she likes to experiment with other media.

With experience in book cover illustration, graphic design, freelance commissions, as well as teaching art, she is versatile and eager to undertake new creative projects. She has over five years of art teaching experience and has worked as an instructor at multiple art studios. Yelyzaveta is currently accepting commissions.
